Cookbook - oreo cupcakes
Today I made these with one of the three musketiers!
Changed the cake's recipe of Annie'eats for the Hersheys one.
(didn't have buttermilk and didn't want to buy some)
Read about this 'perfectly chocolate chocolate cake' on so many foodblogs.I was very curious to try it and I have to say, it was amazing! Super moist!Incredibly good! Not to sugary! Perfection
(they sure knew what they were doing when they named their cake recipe!)
For the Oreo's I used the bañadas ,oreo's dipped in chocolate.
My motto: 'When you do something do it all out!!!'
Made everybody taste them!

One of them read 'Don't eat anything you can buy at a gas station' helps me everytime I step inside to pay and am tempted by a pink donut/doritos/smarties/oreo's/mellowcakes/kinder bueno/kinder surprise/...should I go on??

Cookbook - Lamingtons
Cookies Cookbook Collection is getting bigger!!!
Don't know what Lamingtons are, but they look pretty good to me!!
Here is what wikipedia has to say:
"Lamingtons are a sponge cake (or, more traditionally, butter cake) in the shape of a cuboid, coated in a layer of traditionally chocolate icing then desiccated coconut. They are sometimes served as two halves with a layer of cream and/or strawberry jam between, and are commonly found in Australasian outlets such as cafes, lunch bars, bakeries, and supermarkets.
The strawberry variety is more common in New Zealand, while a lemon variety has been encountered in Australia.
The chocolate coating is a thin mixture, into which cubes of sponge cake (one cookbook states 4 cm per side) are dipped, and the chocolate is absorbed into the outermost layers of the sponge where it sets. (Similarly, the strawberry jam or chocolate icing is absorbed into the sponge.) The cubes are then covered with coconut and left to set."

I remember Karl Lagrfeld saying something along the lines of... 'Don't treat your couture pieces like couture..' Have to look up the quote.He said it in an documentary.
Well that's exactly what the Olson's are doing here! Not treating their Kelly like a Kelly!The summum of luxury.
