COOKBOOK - Homemade Oreo's
Baby did a bad bad thing!!!
Why is it that sometimes the most obvious thing is right in from of you and you don't see it?!
Baking cake after cupcake after pancake, why didn't it ever occur to me to bake Oreo's!!
My favorite cookie, IN THE WORLD!!
Maybe because I never thought one could achieve in recreating that special Oreo taste,
that signature mix of salty and sugary, in the comfort of my own kitchen.
And woooow what a beast did I unleash!!!
Amazing!!! Soooo easy!
Nine minutes of baking time, an eternity of freshly baked Oreooooo's!!!

We all want to live in the yellow submarine
There is always movement in my neighborhood.
When I say this I do not only mean the nightlife and the people walking around the red light district, it's the whole neighborhood that is under renovation with new cafe's, restaurants, coffee and lunch bars!
The latest addition that popped up at Falconplein:
I caught my eye immediately with its dark grey facade!
So I just had to go and see it from up close!
It's a Bed and Breakfast and coffee bar!

First of all, what I great name! I love The Beatles!
Second of all a B&B makes total sense! With Cafe d'Anvers, Red and Blue and Nanno just around the corner!
And last but not least, it looks amazing! To bad I just live next door.
Would booking a room be a little to decadent?

Marcio Kogan - Proteses and Grafts
All of Marcio Kogan's work is inspired by the surroundings, by the city of Sao Paolo, by the the dynamics of a construction site and by the re-use of materials.
Just like his buildings "Prostheses and Grafts" is a series of furniture, that are inspired by the construction site and the re-use of building materials.
The pieces are actually furniture constructed by laborers while working on StudioMK27's various jobsites. From a chair to a table, all the pieces were used by the laborers. You can really see how each piece is made out of scraps found around the worksite.
Just love how you can, with left-over wood and imagination , create amazing furniture!
