I don't think we ever been to Amsterdam without going to Buffet Van Odette.
And sometimes even more than once a day!
Delicious food, great atmosphere, lovely confiture and bread, great coffee!
Well, there is a reason we come back here every time!
( and of course i had a Pumpkin soup, my regular winter dish!)

So lovely to see this blog post! I loved this place and either ordered the pumpkin soup or the BLT tomato soup and the mint tea. We went twice a year for 16 years. They opened a few years into those regular travel years, then changed locations soon after. You don't happen to know a good recipe for the pumpkin soup, do you?
